about Maxine = I have been crafting most of my life, starting with embroidery and knitting at a very young age - my dolls had lots of scarves for a while, and "embroidered" blankets, which were embroidered with wool in large, apparently random, stitches. Both those crafts, crocheting and making clothes for myself and the family, and also gardening kept me busy for many years, until approximately 25 years ago I was introduced to card making.... by which time the clothes making was over, and I had some spare time. I had a relatively small family to make cards for at the time, but it has grown exponentially with grandchildren and now great grandies, so there is never a dull moment.

about Wies = My name is Wies. And I have been making cards and other projects for many years. I like to use different techniques and also love to make fun fold cards and cards with sketches. Making pictures during a walk, especially in nature, is also a hobby of mine. I also like entering challenges and it is so nice to be a guest designer of the Critter Crazy Challenge this month.
